Fuerteventura Pilates & Yoga Retreat

Our all inclusive healthy holiday on the most beautiful of the Canary Islands – Fuerteventura is not to be missed... this intimate retreat only caters for 10 special guests. May 5th – 12th AND May 12th - 19th 2018

The venue

Built in 2010, the architecture of this beautiful house is uncluttered and minimalist. A concept using concrete, steel, glass, wood and lava stone. This unique house has just 5 bedrooms and an exceptional open plan living area. The soothing sound from the garden is of the gentle trickle of water and the hum of the crickets. Here we are very much at one with nature in this magical location.

Our house is located 10 minutes walking distance from the village of Lajares where local artisans have a weekly market, bustling cafes open their doors to all and little craft shops and surf shops all have a presence. With the coastline a short drive away, our options are limitless – from windsurfing to SUP, kitesurfing, horseriding and hiking, this special little island has it all.

During our week we will indulge in a diverse range of classes and workshops, enjoying the peace and tranquility of our exclusive villa, perhaps taking a dip in the glorious private pool and also exploring the islands rugged coastline, sampling some of the islands watersports and much much more… this exclusively small retreat caters for all. Nutrition will play an important role throughout the week – with our own private chef on board, expect delicious brunch breakfasts and outstanding vegetarian dinners.

Shannon Elize

Shannon Elize

Shannon trained originally with Body Control Pilates but has since incorporated the techniques of Garuda and Franklin Method to her teaching style. She has been inspired by and has learnt from a prolific list of teachers and her passion is to carry on learning to consistently improve the way we move. Shannon is a perfectionist when it comes to correct movement patterns with precise technique, although being able to move freely and expressively is also a priority. In her free time she likes to hike for miles with her dog, take regular hot yoga and meditation classes, generally followed by a Sunday roast and large glass of wine!

Paola Reznik

Paola Reznik

Paola started practicing Yoga in 1998 in Argentina. She has taught all over the world and she now resides on the beautiful island of our retreat - Fuerteventura, where she currently teaches her fabulous classes. Paola places great importance in the art of breathing teaching us the ability to find a balance within our minds and emotions. There are few yoga instructors that draw you in and elevate you to another realm. You are guaranteed to fall in love with Paola and her teaching methods.

Brian Bailey

Brian Bailey

Brian’s passion for the kitchen started at an early age. After years of working in 5 star hotels and restaurants, he settled in Costa Rica where he shared in the creation of an Agro-Hotel where all the ingredients were planted and cultivated by the hotel staff. This gave him a deep appreciation and respect for nature which further solidified his approach in fresh cooking and a healthy lifestyle. Brian will be our personal chef for our week long retreat where he will be creating and advising on beautiful healthy nutrition.

There are direct flights to Fuerteventura from most UK airports. Book early for the best price.

Upon arrival you will be met by our driver who will transport you to our villa where we will be awaiting your arrival with a welcome drink and a light bite to eat
