I’m a fifty-something bloke who’s been doing Pilates with Shannon & Co at Reigate Pilates for just over a year now. I’ve never been what you’d call a keep-fit fanatic – I joined up because my osteopath recommended Pilates as a good way to keep my aging joints and muscles supple – she told me it’s a great way to help lessen the risk of back trouble, to which I was becoming prone.
I started feeling the benefit of Pilates right from “the word go”. Every time I do a session my body feels as if it’s more toned, braced for what life throws at it, and just generally more “on my side”. To date (and I’m touching wood here!) I haven’t needed to return to my osteopath since starting Pilates with Reigate Pilates. I hope that Pilates yields similar benefits for you.
