I truly believe that Pilates can complement your life and any sporting activity that you practice

In 2007 Shanie was introduced to Pilates, which totally changed her approach to her work and home life. For years she had issues with her upper back & shoulders the result of sitting at a desk for long periods of time. It wasn’t until she started practicing Pilates that she was able to correct the imbalances in her body to become pain free. This inspired her to become a teacher.

As well as her Level 3 mat work training – Shanie has completed her pregnancy pre and post natal training and Pilates for bone health courses which focus more in depth on conditions such as osteoporosis and osteopenia. She is a certified back4good practitioner having undergone extensive training exclusively related to low back pain.

Shanie says – “I truly believe that Pilates can complement your life and any sporting activity that you practice. My ambition is to help others feel the benefits of Pilates and progress them at a pace that is safe and comfortable for their body”

Shanie is a black belt in Kickboxing so the final word is – do not mess with this teacher! It could get dangerous!! But we are delighted to introduce her as the latest member of the RP team!
